Cricket Moments: Be Happy with a T20 win ... that is all we have to do ... This series raises a lot of questions ... Can we win only 20-20 matches? our batsmen play 20 overs in style but not 50 overs (god help them in a test match)? Are the big trio so jinxed that even if they play well it does no good ??
No one is going to answer these questions correctly .... the good thing is we have something to cheer about at the end ... and not the sad memory of a 4-2 loss with the world champions.
One question that i finally have is did we deserve the win ....even though ponting says his team doesnt take 20-20 seriously .... i would say yes, we played splendid cricket to win the T20 match ... but why cant we translate the same talent and aggression into a 50-50 win ????

Cricket Moments: I am still cheering
Cricket Moments: I am still cheering for the team ... The last match with australia in Hyderabad showed glimpses of improvement in the indian team. Sreesanth has mellowed down .. though he did not improve his bowling abilities ... in the bowling department pathan and bhajji were bowling good .. lastly the gr8 yuvraj made his century in style .... he did help take the score up but in the end ran out of partners to support him..
These signs of improvement will soon trickle into the other players for the next match (I am the best optimist you can find) .... a few bad wickets in the start were the only reason india lost in the match!!!! So lets hope for the best in the next match on monday

Cricket moments: Maverick or Maniac
Cricket moments: Maverick or Maniac ... THis was the heading in the times of India on the day after india lost to Australia in the 2nd ODi match of the "Future Cup" (what kind of name is that) .
The same newspaper that praised sreesanth's performance in the T20 world cup has turned a full circle. I also intend to do the same!!!! sreesanth was good in the T20 .. he was the kemp of India (standing a feet smaller than him)... but in this match he wasn't been aggressive .. he was being maybe stupid !!!!
He stared at people like Hayden and Symonds ... I liked that!!!! but snarling at Symonds after he had made some 80 odd runs with total disdain for the bowling .. that came in bad taste .... he should learn to respect people!!
Eachs and every cricketer respects sachin ... they are aggressive against him but at the end of the day they always respect him.. why?? u know the answer .... so we can conclude that sreesanth can learn from every cricketer to respect good innings
